We help lawful permanent residents understand the process of naturalization and prepare for and defend against any potential barriers to becoming a U.S. citizen.
Generally, lawful permanent residents who have had a green card for three or five years can qualify for naturalization.
Our team can guide you through the naturalization process, help with issues that might impact eligibility for citizenship and represent you as you apply to become a naturalized U.S. citizen.

When you obtain a negative outcome in court or with USCIS you have a right to an appeal in most circumstances.

There are deadlines involved with an appeal, so it is important to contact an immigration attorney.
We work with individuals to determine eligibility for a green card and to file their complete adjustment of status package.
We consider ourselves adjustment of status experts. Adjustment of Status is the process that you can use to apply for lawful permanent residence or a green card. A green card allows you to live and work in the U.S.
We can help you determine your eligibility for a green card based on your familial relationships, your current immigration status, and your US immigration journey.
Asylum in the United States may be sought for individuals in the U.S. who have been persecuted or fear future persecution in their country of origin.
The persecution that they suffer or will suffer must be because of one’s race, religion, nationality, membership in a social group, or one’s political beliefs.
If you fall in this category, you must apply for asylum within one year of entering the U.S. Being granted asylum will allow you to remain in this country and obtain your legal permanent residency or “greencard.” You may apply for work authorization (or work permit) 150 days after you have submitted your asylum application.
Attorney Rodriguez-Martin was born in Bogota, Colombia.
